♪ I charge a yearly registration fee of $20, which is outside of the regular lesson fee. This fee is due at the time you start lessons, and after that, at the beginning of every school year. This fee covers the cost of photocopies, booklets, CDs and online services.
♪ Each student should have a 3-ring binder dedicated to voice lessons. A 1-inch thickness should be sufficient. They may keep loose leaf paper in it to take notes, and will store any photocopies in it.
♪ I recommend that you buy a small CD holder to hold 10-12 CDs. I do not provide CD cases with CDs that accompany booklets, and it is safer to store CDs from purchased music books in a holder instead of in the book.
♪ After I have assessed a student's vocal abilities, I will acquire a book of songs suitable to the student's needs and interests. Any book will always come with a companion CD of piano accompaniments to practice at home. Expect to purchase 1-2 books per year. The cost per book doesn't usually exceed $25.
♪ I offer for purchase specially bound booklets of songs that I have created just for lessons. Each booklet comes with a CD of computer generated piano accompaniments. Some of these booklets are mandatory for lessons and are covered by the yearly registration fee. Others are optional for purchase.
